Membership Terms
Last updated: 13 August 2026
These Membership Terms apply to CLÆBAR memberships supplied by Claebar Pty Ltd (ABN 78 674 553 185). By purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms together with the membership details, price and term shown at checkout or in your written confirmation.
1. Eligibility
Membership is available only for vehicles accepted by CLÆBAR. At application, the vehicle must be no more than four years old, be from a marque currently supported by CLÆBAR, and satisfy our condition requirements. We may request further details or photographs before confirming eligibility. Your location does not determine membership eligibility; CLÆBAR provides service throughout Sydney and surrounding areas. Membership applies only to the accepted vehicle identified in the confirmation.
2. Membership commencement and term
A membership begins when payment has been successfully processed and CLÆBAR confirms acceptance. The membership continues for the period stated in the purchase confirmation unless ended earlier in accordance with these terms. Membership does not automatically transfer to another vehicle or owner unless CLÆBAR agrees in writing.
3. Covered cosmetic repairs
Subject to assessment, the membership covers the eligible minor cosmetic damage described in the membership confirmation and current coverage information. This may include light alloy-wheel scuffs, light surface scratches and abrasions, small parking dents, minor paint chips, and eligible damage to painted bumpers, mirror casings and exterior trim.
4. What is not covered
Unless expressly agreed in writing, membership does not cover pre-existing or undeclared damage; structural or accident damage; mechanical, electrical or safety-related faults; corrosion or environmental damage; glass, tyres, wraps or unpainted trim; custom or specialist finishes; full-panel resprays; damage exceeding the stated size, location or repair-method limits; or damage that cannot be safely or suitably repaired using CLÆBAR’s available cosmetic-repair methods.
5. Requesting a repair
You must provide accurate information and clear photographs when requested. CLÆBAR will assess whether a repair falls within membership coverage and determine the appropriate repair method and service location. Services may be completed at the vehicle’s address or an approved partner workshop. Access, weather, safety, parts, technician availability and the nature of the damage may affect timing.
6. Care of the vehicle
You must take reasonable steps to prevent further damage and disclose relevant prior repairs, modifications or conditions. You must ensure the vehicle is lawfully parked, safe to access and available at the agreed time. Additional work outside membership coverage requires your approval and may incur a separate charge.
7. Quality and rectification
If you have concerns about a completed service, contact enquiries@claebar.com.au promptly with photographs and details. We will assess the concern and, where appropriate, arrange inspection or rectification. Cosmetic repair outcomes may vary with the vehicle’s age, finish, paint condition and previous repairs.
8. Payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. CLÆBAR does not store full payment-card details. You are responsible for ensuring payment information is accurate and authorised.
9. Cancellation, refunds and changes
Any cancellation or change request must be made in writing to enquiries@claebar.com.au. Eligibility for a cancellation, refund or other remedy depends on the circumstances, services already supplied, the membership confirmation and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CLÆBAR is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you, pre-existing conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, it is limited to the remedies permitted by law.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the CLÆBAR Privacy Policy available at www.claebar.com.au/privacy-policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms applying to your membership are those provided or published when your membership is accepted, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in New South Wales.
